Kitso-Khumo’s approach to the development of people is based on our belief that people development should form part of the total people strategy, which is, in turn, informed by the business strategy. The approach we follow to development is part of our broader approach that is best reflected in the figure below.

DURATION OF WORKSHOPS

Our workshops are typically structured around your needs and  can be presented in various formats ranging from morning workshops staggered over a period of weeks or months to full workshops of three or more days in succession .

PRE-WORK AND HOME WORK

The majority of our workshops require participants to either complete some pre-work tasks or homework after each session. We believe in experiential learning. This works best when people have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learnt in the workplace.

To display assertiveness appropriately in the workplace has become an extremely important workplace competency. The 3 day Assertiveness programme addresses the needs of individuals who are required to influence others in their day to day activities in order to ensure results.

Time Management

In a highly dynamic business environment time utilisation has become a  matter of strategic importance. The 2 day Time Management programme is aimed at helping individuals gain the skills to manage this very important and scarce resource effectively and efficiently. 


Emotional Intelligence

Research clearly indicates that Emotional intelligence is held to be an important determinant of workplace success. This programme is aimed at helping people to display the appropriate skills related to emotional intelligence more frequently in the workplace.

Stress Management

Stress is a major inhibitor of workplace performance. While not all stress is necessarily bad, all  types of stress need to be managed in the workplace. This programme is aimed at helping individuals manage stress in the workplace.


Personal Mastery

Personal Mastery forms the basis of all development along the Leadership Pipeline. This three-day workshop is presented around a solid foundation of relevant individual assessments and development feedback.

The Management Programme is aimed at helping managers achieve organizational goals through the effective management of others.


Mentoring

The Mentoring programme is aimed at helping managers with their mentoring role.
